Opening of the Brazilian General Conference

Brazilian samba song

Vibrant Brazilian FM Samba band lead us exuberantly in the opening of the Brazilian General Conference, “Who can separate us from the love of Christ? “Nada, Nada…” “Nothing, Nothing” punctuated with drums and excellent rhythm. And the five ten to twelve year old boys on the front seat? What was their ministry? They were responsible for coiling the microphone chords, adjusting mikes and facilitating platform ministry. Their attention never waivered!

Welcome to the FM World Conference Blog

November 7, 2007 · 3 Comments

We are looking forward to using this blog to keep you updated with all the activity of our Free Methodist World Conference that is being held in São Paulo, Brazil, South America. The majority of conference delegates and guests will arrive tomorrow (Wed.) in anticipation of the start of conference this Thursday, November 8th.

On this blog, there will be many different types of things posted, including photos, interviews, ballot results, and comments. Another exciting aspect of this forum is the opportunity for YOU to be a part of the daily conversation at our FM World Conference. Please send in your comments using the comment box under each new post.

Also, if you speak another language other than English, it would be wonderful if you would take the time to translate each post into that language so that this blog can be a true representation of our FM world! (For example, if you are a missionary in France, just use the comment box to translate the post into French. And be sure to tell your country’s FM brothers and sisters to come and visit this blog!)

Let’s join together in prayer and anticipation for our 2007 Free Methodist World Conference!
